I have done some searching on the internet, looking for someone to custom process a fleece into a blanket. Anyone on this sight have any suggestions or experience with anyone.

In my area MacAusland's Woollen Mills Ltd. In PEI does a good job on blankets.

There is a woman in MA that advertises for custom blankets www.blanketweave.com

I checked it out, and she was higher priced than MacAusland's, but other than that I don't have any first hand experience with her work.

I have handled blankets made by both Peggy and MacAuslands. Peggy's are more artisnal, and she offers more artistic variation of patterns. Both put out a very high quality blanket in my opinion, but Peggy's are more expensive.

I have a friend who sends all her wool to McAusland's and has always been happy with the blankets they produced. I intend to have them make me blankets from some of my wool this year.

I received a reply back from Peggy and she only deals with fleeces that are already spun.
